About the Role
Calyx Global is seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager (Contract) to take a lead role in executing our marketing activities during a high-intensity period. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that combines event coordination, campaign operations, and managing communications for Calyx Global. You will be the glue between our marketing, product, and sales teams — making sure events run seamlessly, campaigns go out on time, and our systems are clean and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Content & Messaging Support: Set pace, content and agenda for company communications. Review and coordinate reports, blog posts, email, and social media copy for alignment with brand voice and quality standards. Liaise with writers/designers and manage approvals. Pitch content to press, respond to inquiries and manage media relations. Identify and share what’s working and what’s not. Be responsible for the Calyx Global social handle.
- Campaign Operations: Manage marketing automation through HubSpot (lists, workflows, reporting). Coordinate campaign briefs and ensure content, emails, and social posts are delivered on schedule.
- Webinars & Virtual Events: Own the end-to-end setup and execution of Zoom webinars, including driving registration, dry runs, live hosting support, and follow-up communications. Manage participant advertising (e.g. landing pages, LinkedIn advertising)
- Event Management: Lead logistics for major conferences, side events, and client dinners (e.g. Climate Week, industry forums). Manage registrations, invitations, partner coordination, catering, and onsite/virtual support.
- Project & Workflow Management: Drive execution through Asana, creating subtasks, assigning work, and ensuring deadlines are met across the team.
- Analytics & Listening: Track LinkedIn, campaign and event performance (social engagement, lead lists, downloads, registrations). Conduct basic account research to support demand generation and sales. Report on overall marketing program and identify opportunities for optimization.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations or equivalent experience in project management including events management and multichannel campaign execution, ideally in B2B SaaS or sustainability/climate sectors.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail in reviewing content.
- Proven ability to manage complex deliverables simultaneously, with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a distributed team environment.
- Experience partnering closely with sales to support revenue outcomes
- Ability to use a variety of productivity tools. In particular, nice to have:
- Hands-on expertise with HubSpot
- Zoom webinar management
- Skilled in Asana (or equivalent project management tools) and comfortable managing fast-moving workflows
- Familiar with LInkedIn, including it’s algorithms to maximize exposure
- Ability to do basic design in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite is helpful
- Google analytics and G-Suite apps (slides, docs, sheets, etc.)
Contract Details
- Remote position, flexible hours overlapping with US/EU time zones.
- 3–6 month initial contract, with potential extension.
- Part-to full-time engagement depending on candidate availability.
