Torch Technologies is seeking an experienced Senior CI/CD Engineer to design, build, and support automated pipelines that streamline software build, test, and deployment processes. In this role, you will be critical in enabling rapid and reliable software delivery across our organization, supporting our engineering teams with scalable and secure DevOps solutions.
As a CI/CD Engineer, your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications and services.
- Integrate test automation and artifact management into the pipeline workflows.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline workflows and ensure consistent deployment practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve build, integration, and deployment issues.
- Automate builds, testing, and deployment activities to accelerate release cycles.
- Maintain and support version control systems and branching strategies.
- Ensure compliance with infrastructure standards, policies, and security best practices.
- Evaluate system performance, monitor CI/CD metrics, and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps practices.
- Clearance Requirements: Active or eligible for DoD Security Clearance.
- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Tekton, or ArgoCD.
- Deep understanding of containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Groovy.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Helm) is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of pipeline design, test automation, artifact management, and deployment best practices.
- Ability to assess and improve system performance and resiliency.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience in documenting environments, standards, procedures, and operational playbooks.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate technical concepts.
