AI/ML Solution Architect
6-12 month contract with strong likelihood for continued extension and/or conversion

Our client is seeking a strategic and technically savvy AI/ML Solution Architect to join their AI leadership team, specifically sitting within the Digital organization. This is a high-impact, enterprise-level role responsible for driving the design, architecture, and adoption of AI/ML solutions across multiple business domains.
This individual will serve as a thought leader, strategist, and technical translator, bridging business needs with scalable AI/ML solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as AI/ML lead for cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with enterprise IT, digital teams, and domain leaders.
- Translate business goals into technical artifacts, solution designs, and architectural frameworks.
- Guide and mentor senior AI/ML team members in the creation of an enterprise AI playbook.
- Act as a key contributor to the creation of a scalable AI Factory, establishing intake and delivery processes for AI/ML initiatives across the organization.
- Evangelize best practices in LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, embeddings, vector search, and MCPs.
- Lead the design and implementation strategy of AI copilots and agentic AI solutions, starting with several pre-determined use cases.
- Benchmark against industry trends and competitors in healthcare AI, bringing innovative solutions and strategy.
- Partner with various entities across the enterprise to showcase AI use cases, measure outcomes, and drive adoption.
- Define and support the development of AI/ML DevOps processes, from intake through output.
Experience Required
- Proven experience as a leader in AI/ML solution architecture, preferably in the healthcare domain.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and modern NLP practices.
- Familiarity with agentic AI systems and how they’re being applied across the healthcare industry.
- Strong architectural mindset, capable of abstracting complex problems into scalable solutions.
- Ability to mentor and guide technical teams, even if not directly hands-on.
- Experience collaborating with product owners and executives to shape AI strategy and execution.
- Familiarity with healthcare use cases such as benefits navigation, prior authorization, and provider support is a strong plus.
- Respected as a strong communicator and influencer across business and technical teams.
