Location: Fully Remote from Spain or onsite at Spain offices (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Málaga)

Salary: €40,000 – €50,000 (gross, depending on experience)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with a strong passion for quality and a long-term commitment to driving excellence in software testing and quality engineering. You’ll play a key role in shaping the testing strategy, implementing automation frameworks, and ensuring the reliability and performance of products within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong passion for Quality Engineering and long-term interest in continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of the testing pyramid, including unit, integration, and system testing.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks: Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and JUnit.
- Programming knowledge in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with software architecture concepts, components, and dependencies.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and their integration into SDLC.
- Expertise in manual and exploratory testing.
- Excellent communication skills — written and spoken in Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and JUnit.
- Perform manual and exploratory testing, ensuring full coverage and high product quality.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to embed testing into every stage of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Ensure testing aligns with the testing pyramid, emphasizing technical and integration layers.
- Work within CI/CD pipelines to automate and optimize quality assurance processes.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in testing practices and tools.
