IT Technical Recruiter (Sourcing-Led) — 3–5 Years

The role
You’ll own top-of-funnel for high-demand IT roles and drive candidates from first touch through offer. You know where talent lives, how to reach them, and how to keep a pipeline warm without spamming. This is a hands-on sourcing and recruiting role focused on speed, quality, and clean process.
What you’ll do
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify the “must-haves,” sharpen scorecards, and set search strategy within 48 hours of intake.
- Build targeted talent maps and run multi-channel sourcing: LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, job boards, referrals, meetups, and alumni groups.
- Write tight outreach that gets replies; run structured follow-ups and A/B tests.
- Screen for technical fit (stack, projects, depth), compensation, location, and work authorization.
- Manage candidate flow in the ATS: tagging, stages, notes, and feedback loops.
- Present calibrated shortlists with clear summaries, risks, and next steps.
- Drive offers: comp intel, closing plans, start-date coordination, and reference checks.
- Track metrics weekly and refine based on data.
You’ve done this before (must-haves)
- 3–5 years recruiting for IT/engineering roles (agency or in-house).
- Proven wins across roles like Software Engineer (.NET/Java/Python), Data/ML, Cloud/DevOps, QA/SDET, Security, and Data Engineering.
- Strong Boolean/X-ray skills; comfortable sourcing outside LinkedIn, Github, Kaggle when needed.
- Solid understanding of US hiring mechanics: W-2/C2C/1099, salary vs. hourly, relocation, and common work authorizations (USC/GC/H-1B/OPT/CPT). We are looking to hire W-2 Candidates SO USC, GC, H1-B transfers.
- Confident first-pass technical screens: can translate a JD into real skill checks, USing of AI Tools a must
- ATS fluency (Ceipal, JObdiva, Bullhorn) and disciplined documentation.
- Clear, concise writing; professional, candidate-first communication.
Nice to have
- Experience building diversity pipelines and running structured interview loops.
- Track record recruiting at pace in a high-req environment (10–20 open reqs).
- Familiarity with coding portfolios (GitHub), cloud certs, and security certs.
- Basic compensation modeling and offer packaging.
What success looks like (first 90 days)
- Intake to first shortlist: ≤ 1-2 business days.
- Qualified candidates per role: 2-4 submitted within 72 hours.
- Screen-to-onsite pass-through: ≥ 55%.
- Time-to-accept: ≤ 15-18 days (role dependent).
- Hiring manager satisfaction: ≥ 4.5/5.

LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS -Ceipal, Google Sheets/Docs, Github/Stack Overflow, job boards like DICE, referrals, contact finder (RocketReach/ContactOut), scheduling (Calendly), and messaging automation where appropriate.
