🎨 Founding Designer | AI Automation Startup | San Francisco | $140K–$225K + Equity

Are you a designer who loves blending technical skill with creativity?

We’re partnering with an early-stage, well-funded AI startup in San Francisco that’s redefining the future of enterprise automation — and they’re looking for their Founding Designer.

You’ll work directly with the founding team (including the CEO) to shape the company’s design DNA — everything from product UI/UX to visual identity. This is a chance to have a massive impact at the ground level of a company that’s scaling fast and tackling some of the hardest problems in enterprise AI.

What you’ll do:

  • Design the core product experience and establish a brand language across all surfaces.
  • Build and own the UI library, ensuring design consistency and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to bring elegant, technically sound design to life.
  • Translate complex AI systems into intuitive, world-class product experiences.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in design at both fast-moving startups and teams with strong design systems.
  • Ability to code or work comfortably with engineers.
  • Experience working on or around AI or complex technical products.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates sharp design judgment, system thinking, and product intuition.

Why this role?

  • Be the first designer at a company backed by top investors (Series A, ~$20M raised).
  • Work in-person from a new office in San Francisco’s Mission district.
  • Shape a product and brand from the ground up.
  • Competitive salary ($140K–$225K) + meaningful equity + visa sponsorship available.

If you’re excited by the idea of designing for a product that’s transforming how work gets done through AI — this is your chance to build something truly original.
