We are seeking an experienced
Senior Neo4j Developer/Architect to design and deliver high-quality, resilient data solutions supporting fraud detection and prevention initiatives within a leading global investment bank. This role sits within
Non-Financial Risk Technology, specifically in the
Fraud Technology division focused on developing and maintaining applications that help identify and mitigate fraudulent transactions.
As part of this team, you will collaborate closely with fraud analysts and engineers to build next-generation graph-based data solutions that enhance operational surveillance and risk mitigation capabilities.
Role: Senior Neo4j Developer
Duration: 6 12 months (initial term)
Location: New York City, NY (preferred) Open to remote or relocation candidates
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of total experience, with 3+ years in Neo4j architecture or senior development roles.
- Proven experience in Fraud Detection, AML, or Trade Surveillance within financial services.
- Deep expertise in Neo4j Cypher Queries, Graph Data Science, and Data Ingestion.
- Hands-on experience with Neo4j configuration and performance tuning.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and integration tasks (Spark, Kafka).
- Strong SQL skills with experience querying databases like SQL Server and Impala.
- Experience implementing AI/ML-based graph analytics for fraud or risk use cases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
