We are currently looking for an exceptional Data Analyst, to work exclusively with one of our top partners, one of the biggest and most successful companies in Greece.

What’s the role about?

Υou will be working in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, so you can never expect to have just another typical day at work. Sometimes you will feel out of your comfort zone, but you will probably never feel bored!

On any particular day you will be doing several of the following:

• Deliver timely and accurately company performance reports and ensure local D&A environment is fit for purpose.
• Analyze and prioritize stakeholder needs; support team during the product roll out.
• Design and build reporting, serviced in a digital and visualized manner.
• Execute ad-hoc and scheduled analysis - data mining - to produce actionable results.
• Perform reconciliations on various data sources to assure data integrity.
• Consult Business and IT (Partnering) regarding new projects and their impact on BI.
• Ensure good business partnering relationships across the organization; ensure appropriate information requirements are being delivered to meet the business need and prioritize demand to increase value.
• Drive cross company analytics initiatives.

Job requirements

Your professional expertise

You have a strong background in data analysis. You are a spreadsheets (MS/Google) expert. You’re comfortable with mining large datasets (i.e. in SQL / SAS) and with leveraging visualization tools (Power BI) to discover patterns and to draw and present insights from multiple complex data sources.

You are always eager to drive new projects with multiple stakeholders, unclear requirements, and incomplete data.

You love leveraging data in decision making! Numbers are your friends!

Let’s talk specifics:

• You have a Bachelor’s degree from an established university in Computer Science or Statistics/Mathematics with Computer Science orientation and preferably also a Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• You have 2+ years of experience as Business Intelligence Analyst or Data Analyst in IT or Business functions or any other role with similar responsibilities.
• You have provable mastery of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• You have experience with data mining tools (IBM SPSS, SAS, Python, R) – with SPSS and Python being a priority
• You have a good understanding on BI tools and practices – analytics tools (SAP BO, Oracle BI, MS SSRS).
• You are proficient in any flavour of SQL
• You are able to discuss using both Business and IT language and terminology.
• You are familiar with Agile practices.
