As a Research Associate, you will support the full market research project cycle β€” from designing questionnaires to analyzing and reporting results β€” to deliver high-quality insights for our clients. You'll work closely with senior researchers and cross-functional team members to ensure projects run smoothly, findings are clearly communicated, and clients receive actionable recommendations.

As a Research Associate at Angus Reid Group, you will:

  • Learn all about the market research industry and methodologies.
  • Be responsible for assisting in the management of the market research project cycle, including,
    • Designing and developing questionnaires and discussion guides,
    • Overseeing data collection & ensuring strict quality control,
    • Identifying and writing up analytical findings,
    • Visualizing and reporting quantitative and qualitative findings,
    • Report writing and taking deliverables to the next level,
    • Working with marketing research software packages.
  • Work closely and effectively with team members & external sub-contractors
  • Bring an exceptional drive and entrepreneurial mindset, while also being highly organized and detail orientated

  • A passion for unlocking the power of consumer insights to help drive agile decision making.

This may be the right opportunity for you if you have:

  • University or College degree.
  • 0-1 years of relevant, hands-on work experience.
  • Understanding of economics and/or a strong business acumen.
  • Exposure to basic market research principles including quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Exposure to the marketing research process.
  • Comfortable using AI
  • Familiarity with questionnaire design techniques.
  • Curious about learning new technologies.
  • Experience identifying and writing up analytical findings.
  • Experience with visualizing and reporting quantitative data.
  • Analytical/ Logic and Reasoning orientation.
  • Strong numeric and problem-solving orientation.
  • Strong detail orientation.

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills.

  • In determining salary, Angus Reid Group considers many factors including the successful candidate's skillset and experience as well as internal equity. The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $60,000, with the upper portion typically reserved for tenured employees who have developed extensive job knowledge and expertise within the company.
  • Home office stipend, monthly internet stipend and cellphone stipend.
