In this role, you’ll work across the organization to prevent, detect, and respond to risks, leveraging your expertise in network security, security domains, governance frameworks, and risk controls. You will work in resourceful, independent environment where your broad IT knowledge and enterprise experience will help shape effective cyber risk controls.

Key Accountabilities
- Manage and maintain network security controls, including firewalls and access control systems
- Maintain and follow incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and lead investigative activities
- Support audit processes and respond to third-party security assessments
- Prepare technical assessments and reports; provide expert guidance and recommendations
- Analyze and prioritize security issues with a proactive, learning-oriented mindset
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and triage skills in dynamic environments
- Evaluate, select, and implement security controls and solutions to meet organizational needs
- Collaborate on the creation and delivery of strategic roadmaps to advance cybersecurity capabilities
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, translating between abstract concepts and technical details
What You Bring To The Role
- Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and network operations, supported by a university degree or technical diploma. Certifications like CISSP or SANS are preferred
- Expertise with enterprise network security solutions such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, ClearPass, and ForeScout
- Experience with enterprise security solutions such as CrowdStrike, Tenable, Splunk, AppLocker, and ProofPoint
- Demonstrated incident response skills, including log analysis, traffic investigation, and packet capture interpretation
- Strong knowledge of threat defense and configuration best practices for on-premises and cloud services
- Familiarity with databases, automation, data science, and industrial control systems (ICS/SCADA/DCS) is an asset
- Up-to-date awareness of threat landscapes, including APTs, third-party risks, vulnerabilities, and recent attack trends
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, subnetting, and protocols like SSL/TLS, DNS, HTTP, and SSH
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong leadership and planning abilities, with a proactive approach to goal setting and execution
