The Role
As a Founding Product Engineer at Affitor, you’re not just coding — you’re acting like the CEO of the product you build. You’ll collaborate daily with Product, Design, and Growth teams, making bold decisions that directly shape the product experience and drive company growth.
You’ll take ideas from concept to MVP, while laying the groundwork to scale globally. In this role, you’ll be part of our 5-person founding team, where every line of code and decision carries company-defining impact.
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement full-stack features (React/Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL).
- Collaborate with founders and designers to translate user needs into intuitive products.
- Contribute to product strategy: ideation, research, prioritization, and prototyping.
- Explore and integrate AI/LLM capabilities into real-world use cases.
- Build systems that prioritize scalability, performance, and security.
- Take true ownership as a core founding engineer, helping define Affitor’s roadmap.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in the US (preferred) or EU, bringing a global perspective.
- Hands-on SaaS background (Affiliate/Performance Marketing a plus).
- Startup mindset: proactive, hardworking, collaborative, and ownership-driven.
- Strong skills in TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Docker, Terraform.
- Interest in building with AI/LLMs in production environments.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-moving small team.
