About The Role

Keeper Security is seeking a talented, creative, and visionary UX/UI Designer to join our passionate team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity through exceptional design. As a UX/UI Designer, you will work closely with the Head of Product Design to reimagine user interactions and develop intuitive interfaces that simplify complex security features. Your work will directly impact millions of users by transforming cybersecurity from a daunting task into an accessible and empowering experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, engineers, QA, and stakeholders—to craft designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional. Your designs will be pivotal in setting new industry standards and enhancing the overall user experience across Keeper’s ecosystem. This is a 100% remote position, with the possibility of a hybrid schedule for candidates residing near our Chicago headquarters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in UX/UI design roles
• Portfolio demonstrating strong user-centered design principles and practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Figma for designing, prototyping, and presenting concepts
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights into design improvements
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles across web, desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to articulate and advocate for design decisions
• Ability to solve problems effectively, adapt to challenges, and learn complex solutions
• A passion for creating elegant, impactful, and user-friendly experiences with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, QA, and stakeholders, to define user requirements and project goals
• Lead the entire design process from ideation, wireframing, prototyping, to final UI design, ensuring a cohesive user experience
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and inform design decisions
• Create user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to effectively communicate user needs and guide design solutions
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency and scalability
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX/UI design, integrating them into workflows
• Leverage Keeper’s existing design system and brand guidelines to maintain visual consistency across all digital properties
• Design responsive layouts optimized for various devices and screen sizes to ensure a seamless user experience
