Requirements: 
  • Work as part of a technical support team delivering a quality service to single/multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software products.
  • Analyze and understand clients' needs and expectations, as well as alternative architectures and trends.
  • Interview clients' technical teams to gather relevant information to facilitate architectural requirements definitions.
  • Takes responsibility to lead small to medium scale design projects, interfacing with project managers.
  • Establish, explain, and validate the solution testing criteria for projects.
  • Design services in accordance with Client standards and vendor best practices.
  • Remain current on vendor best practices as it relates to the interlinking of technologies (Windows, VMware, Storage platforms).
  • Provide expertise on system performance tuning, capacity planning, and maintenance patching and new version installation.
  • Develop and maintain standard templates for repeatable build outs.
  • Work with vendors and drive them to help us meet our service level obligations.
  • Plan and implement small to medium scale changes on production systems.
  • Analyze and assess the impact and risk of small to medium risk changes on production systems.
  • Install, configure, patch and maintain appropriate technologies (e.g. servers/databases/network/ storage).
  • Design and assist small to medium scale disaster recovery tests.
  • Create and review technical system recovery plans.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Service Excellence.
  • Perform major upgrades of systems and associated products.
  • Act as technical lead for one or more small to medium scale clients. 
Requirements:
  • VMware: Must have 3+ years of experience with vSphere environments, including managing ESXi hosts and vCenter.
  • Experience with upgrading VMware environments and managing virtual networks using NSX.
  • Nutanix: Must have practical experience with Nutanix Acropolis (AHV) and managing hyper-converged infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with Nutanix tools like Prism for monitoring and management.
  • Azure: Deployment and management of Azure VMs, storage accounts, and networking.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and Azure governance (e.g., policies and role-based access control).
At least one Certification required:
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  • VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)
  • Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP)
  • Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional (NCAP)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Associate
