Job title: Senior SQA Automation Engineer

Salary: up to BDT 80K/month

Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a highly proficient Senior SQA Automation Engineer who excels in Java and JavaScript (TypeScript) and brings a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing practices. As part of our QA team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications across web, mobile, and API layers, while contributing to performance and scalability validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Playwright for web applications.
- Design, build, and deliver AI-first test systems using tools such as Gemini, CoPilot, BedRock, Applitools, Mabl, or custom scripts.
- Implement self-healing test automation, intelligent test prioritization, and visual validation with AI solutions.
-Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to define test strategies and ensure high test coverage.
- Execute manual testing for exploratory, regression, and smoke tests when required.
- Perform API testing using Postman and automate with tools like REST-Assured or similar.
- Conduct Mobile application testing (manual & automation) using Appium across platforms.
- Implement and execute load/performance testing using JMeter to validate system scalability.
- Log, track, and manage defects through a standardized process using tools like JIRA or similar.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English [MUST HAVE]
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on QA experience
- Strong programming/scripting experience with Java and TypeScript
- Solid understanding and practical experience in manual testing methodologies
- Proven experience with Selenium and Playwright for Web Automation
- Experience in both manual and automated API testing using Postman, Rest-Assured
- Experience in Mobile testing using Appium.
- Exposure to performance/load testing tools, especially JMeter
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Proven ability to use AI tools in engineering workflows (e.g., Gemini, Copilot, Testim, Applitools, Mabl) will add extra value.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration will add extra value.
