Job description:
As Product Owner, your mission is to shape a seamless and reliable customer experience from checkout to after-sales in B2B automotive webshops and apps. The team owns the core transaction flow, including offer management, cart, checkout, customer account, and after-sales services like returns and warranty.
You are a strategic thinker and a hands-on executor, driven by customer needs, data insights, and a clear sense of value delivery. You translate complex requirements into smart, scalable solutions and lead a cross-functional development team in close collaboration with business stakeholders across Europe.
- Own the end-to-end product experience for all transactional and account-related processes, from cart to order confirmation, through to customer account management and after-sales operations;
- Coordinate backend systems and cross-team interfaces needed to bring your user stories;
- Manage the Offer Module, enabling customer-specific deals and offers;
- Act as the key contact for international business stakeholders regarding all features and initiatives in your domain;
- Prioritise and manage the product backlog in close alignment with business goals and customer needs;
- Collaborate with designers, developers, QA engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver value in every sprint;
- Work closely with offshore teams, demonstrating strong intercultural communication skills and the ability to lead in a distributed team setup;
- Leverage a data-driven approach to define, track, and improve KPIs such as conversion rate, order success rate, and feature adoption;
- Ensure stable operation and ongoing improvement of your product area, including coordination with support teams and service providers;
- Drive agile ways of working and a continuous delivery culture within your team;
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience as a product owner of a web product with a very good understanding and proven track record of E-commerce applications;
- Knowledge of online industry trends and very interested in learning and becoming an expert in product management for search and product discovery ;
- Strong technical background and programming experience are benefits;
- Willingness to travel once in a while to visit customers and our development team;
- You have passion for digital products, services, and problem-solving skills;
- You studied Information science or business sciences;
- You have a high understanding of technology and data (Google Analytics);
- You drive to provide our customers with optimal value;
- You're a professional who always focuses on their customer and balances its action between growth and efficiency;
- You have a highly structured way to manage work and deliver the promised quality on time;
- You have empathy and excellent communication skills to provide information geared at the target group and to manage stakeholders;
- You are assertive in managing a complex project and achieving challenging goals on time and within budget;
- You have excellent communication skills in spoken and written English;
