Founding Engineer (Next.js / TypeScript / React Native)

We’re hiring our first engineers to build self-help products that run on web and mobile. You’ll take ownership of feature delivery end to end—from shaping the plan to shipping fast, polished releases.

• Small, product-focused team turning cutting-edge behavioral science into accessible self-help and mental wellbeing tools.
• We strive to integrate AI in all aspects of our company and have a very lean style of operation.
• Operating in stealth right now and will launch in Q1 of 2026.

What You’ll Tackle

• Pair with AI tools to deliver full product modules: plan, prompt, refine, QA, and launch.
• Develop React-based web apps and React Native mobile apps (Expo or similar).
• Stand up and maintain lightweight backends (Supabase/Postgres/Firebase).
• Keep our build pipelines healthy across Vercel, app stores, and automated tests.
• Lay the groundwork for engineering best practices, documentation, and team workflows from scratch.

What You’ll Bring

• 4+ years of experience in software development.
• Deep modern web experience (React + TypeScript or similar) and the judgment to choose pragmatic solutions.
• Proven ability to ship cross-platform mobile apps (React Native/Expo preferred, open to equivalents).
• Strong debugging instincts; comfortable taking AI-generated code and making it reliable.
• Familiarity with cloud backends and auth/data modeling basics; ready to learn lightweight solutions.
• Hands-on DevOps mindset: environment setup, CI/CD, deployment logistics, and testing routines.
• Habit of working with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex etc.) to accelerate delivery.
• Good command of English is a must.

Nice To Have

• Experience with mobile subscription app ecosystem.
• Experience with web to app pipelines.
• Prior early-stage or solo engineering experience where you set direction and executed end to end.
