Project Information / Tasks
- Perform patch management for Windows Server (Virtual & Physical), Linux Server, and ESXi environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess patching requirements, prioritize tasks, and schedule maintenance windows efficiently.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in patch management and cybersecurity.
- Maintain a solid understanding of security and antivirus solutions, applying best practices to protect systems through effective patch management.
- Utilize VMware administration skills to ensure seamless integration and patching across virtualized environments.
- Apply ITIL v4 methodologies to streamline patching processes and enhance service delivery.
- Ensure security compliance according to defined KPIs.
- Regularly attend and manage daily meetings (DMs) to ensure alignment and progress tracking.
Requirements
Must Have /
Must be clearly listed on your CV
- Experience: 1–2 years in the IT industry.
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration (2012 R2 / 2016 / 2019 / 2022, etc.) with basic troubleshooting skills.
- Foundational knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing systems.
- Basic understanding of patch management and antivirus solutions.
- Availability to work from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM CET (night shift focus).
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Hyper-V and Veritas Cluster concepts.
- Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW) or similar ITSM tools.
- Good email etiquette and professional communication style.
- Familiarity with Security+ concepts.
- Ability to follow and improve existing processes to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Self-starter mindset with a proactive attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid professional relationships.
