Role Description 

This is a full-time remote role for a Full-Stack Junior Developer at WALLT. You’ll work across the backend and frontend, designing and shipping features for our SaaS platform while collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers. 

Key Responsibilities 

• End-to-End Feature Development: Build and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js, ReactJS, and NextJS. 
• Backend Engineering: Design REST APIs and web servers (Hapi or similar), implement the Model-Controller-Route pattern, and manage relational databases such as MySQL (NoSQL familiarity is a plus). 
• Frontend Engineering: Create responsive UIs with React hooks, SCSS/Flex/Grid, and integrate seamlessly with backend APIs using Axios and async/await. 
• Best Practices: Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles to write clean, maintainable code. 
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work with product managers and teammates to define requirements, review code, and clearly document your work. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in professional software development (internships welcome). 
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and strong understanding of promises, data structures, and async patterns. 
• Experience with Node.js backend development and relational databases (MySQL preferred); knowledge of ORMs such as Sequelize is a plus. 
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and familiarity with NextJS. 
• Understanding of concurrency, HTTP servers, and socket implementations.
