AI/Fullstack Engineer

The Role

We’re building the first AI-powered Fan Engagement Platform, and we’re looking for a skilled AI/ Fullstack Engineer to join us. In this role, you’ll architect intelligent systems, power our platform with AI, and build scalable backend services that deliver real impact to millions of fans worldwide.

What you’ll do at Data Talks:

• Collaborate with dev teams and product managers to design AI-powered solutions
• Build and maintain robust server-side architecture, databases, and design APIs and implement RAG systems, agentic assistants, and context engineering strategies
• Optimize latency, cost, and performance for production AI systems
• Integrate vector databases into existing pipelines
• Establish evaluation frameworks and benchmarks for AI performance
• Test, debug, and upgrade backend services for responsiveness and efficiency
• Write technical documentation and contribute to frontend solutions when needed (bonus!)

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in fullstack development, design, and architecture
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core
• Experience with any major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
• Experience with Relational and NoSQL Databases (Postgres, NoSQL)
• Practical knowledge of RAG and information retrieval (dense/sparse embeddings)
• Prompt/context engineering best practices
• Clear grasp of pre-training, fine-tuning, and RAG trade-offs
• High-level understanding of transformer models
• Experience with AI evaluation, benchmarking, and balancing performance trade-offs
• Built agentic systems/chatbots using libraries (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
• Familiarity with agentic patterns (tool/function calling/planning)

Bonus Points

• Experience with Semantic Kernel
• Fine-tuning or distilling LLMs
• Recommendation systems
• Frontend skills (HTML, JavaScript, Blazor WASM)
• Curiosity for emerging AI technologies in enterprise
• Hands-on experience with vector DBs (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, PgVector, etc.)

Location

• Offices are located in Stockholm, but we are open for fully-remote work in an EU timezone.

• This is a B2B Contract role, with no fixed end date.
