Role: Fractional Chief Innovation Officer

Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive innovation strategy aligned with overall business goals and market opportunities.
- Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies, market trends, and disruptive business models.
- Cultivating a culture of innovation and experimentation throughout the organization.
- Establishing and managing an innovation pipeline, from ideation and concept development to prototyping and piloting.
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration to foster creativity and accelerate the development of new solutions.
- Advising on intellectual property strategy and protection.
- Developing and managing relationships with external partners, startups, and academic institutions to source new ideas and technologies.
- Measuring and reporting on innovation performance and impact on business growth.
- Acting as an executive thought partner to founders or CEOs on all aspects of future growth, transformation, and competitive differentiation.
Key Requirements May Include:
- Proven experience in a senior innovation, strategy, product development, or executive consulting role.
- Track record of successfully driving significant innovation initiatives and bringing new offerings to market.
- Deep understanding of innovation methodologies (e.g., Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile) and their practical application.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and assess potential risks and rewards of new ventures.
- Excellent communication, influence, and cross-functional leadership abilities, comfortable engaging with C-suite and boards.
- Visionary and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for problem-solving and creating future value.
- Prior experience as a fractional, interim, or consulting executive is a strong plus.
