About The Role
The Digital Marketing Specialist at BAC is a fully remote, full-time position integral to the College's Marketing and Communications team. This role is ideal for a creative and strategic marketing professional with 2 to 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content strategy. The specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing digital marketing campaigns that elevate BAC’s brand presence and engage diverse audiences, including prospective students, current students, alumni, and industry partners. Key responsibilities include managing social media platforms, developing compelling content, supporting newsletter initiatives, and collaborating across departments to ensure cohesive messaging. The role requires a proactive individual with strong storytelling skills, digital instincts, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving marketing trends. The successful candidate will help shape the College’s online voice, amplify its mission, and contribute to the growth of its community engagement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content development.
- Proven ability to create engaging, on-brand content across multiple digital channels.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills with attention to tone and detail.
- Knowledge of social media best practices, trends, tools, and analytics.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor or Mailchimp.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a quick learner of new systems and tools.
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to visit campus as needed.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to develop and implement a comprehensive digital content strategy and editorial calendar aligned with recruitment, engagement, and branding objectives.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement across platforms such as X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Design and execute digital marketing campaigns to promote College programs, events, initiatives, and community stories, aiming to increase awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Support the creation and distribution of institutional newsletters, including the BAC Buzz E-Zine, and coordinate with various departments for content accuracy and consistency.
- Guide and collaborate with the BAC's Social Media Fellow on content strategy, tone, scheduling, and engagement best practices.
- Partner with the Senior Web Marketing Specialist to ensure website content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with branding and editorial standards.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics across digital platforms, using insights to optimize content and report on campaign effectiveness.
- Assist in content development for internal communications, institutional updates, and other marketing needs.
- Provide support during events, campaigns, or special initiatives, including coverage during evenings or weekends as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the College’s marketing and communication objectives.
