Role Overview
We’re hiring a Salesforce QA Engineer to lead test planning and execution across Sales/Service/Experience Cloud and related integrations. You’ll translate user stories into clear test scenarios, ensure releases meet acceptance criteria, and partner closely with admins, developers, and project leads in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define test strategy, plans, and traceable test cases from requirements/user stories.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across environments.
- Validate core Salesforce configuration and customizations (objects, flows/automation, permissions) and key integrations.
- Manage the full defect lifecycle and drive timely resolution with the team.
- Prepare test data, maintain test environments, and support release/go-live checklists.
- Track and communicate quality status and risks to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of software QA experience, with recent Salesforce project experience.
- Comfortable with manual testing and exposure to test automation concepts.
- Familiarity with API testing and end-to-end data validation.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ways of working.
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail; effective with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce or QA certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform App Builder, ISTQB).
- Understanding of data security, governance, and Salesforce best practices.
