Title: Senior Project Manager

Location: Green River, WY

Key Responsibilities

• Management and coordination of project development and execution
• Determination of project development and execution strategies such as contracting plan, material management plan and integrated project schedule
• Project team management and development of team members (i.e. maintenance, operations, safety)
• Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution
• Manage and forecast project costs
• Ensure projects comply with regulatory requirements, plant engineering standards and equipment standards
• Compliance with Process safety, ergonomics, MSHA, ISO, environmental agencies, applicable codes and regulatory agencies
• Ensure projects comply with Corporate Operating Standards (COS)
• Departmental record keeping and databases
  
  

Activities

• Lead large, multi-faceted, complex projects efficiently and with a high level of expertise.
• Management and coordination of project development and execution including development of authorization for expenditure’s (AFEs), and evaluation of project’s economics.
• Lead the management of change (MOC) process.
• Assists in performing root cause analysis’s (RCA’s).
• Determination of project development and execution strategies such as contracting plan, material management plan and integrated project schedule.
• Utilization of the capital deployment process for project development and execution.
• Manages and forecasts project costs.
• Participates in development and administration of capital plan.
• Oversees project management, including cost accountability.
• Prepares design, drawings & specification documents.
• Prepares bid/request documents, addendums & change orders for procurement phase.
• Direct interface with discipline engineers.
• Provides mentorship of other Project Managers and Project Engineers.
• Coordinates and ensures projects comply with regulatory and code requirements.
• Ensures projects are appropriately closed and an accounting interface has occurred.
• Ensures projects comply with corporate operating standards
• Supports project systems
• Supports ISO efforts
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Skill, Capability And Educational Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical, Mine, Civil or Electrical Engineering, preferred.
• 10 + years of experience in Project Management, leading large or complex projects is required. This includes the management of budgets, and timelines to ensure efficient project execution.
• 5 + years in an industrial setting required.
• Engineer in training certificate or professional engineering license strongly preferred.
• Proficient in M.S Applications including but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Experience in SAP and Auto CAD is strongly preferred.
