THE ROLE

Eclipse Travel is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This new role will support the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, content creation, community engagement, and partnership initiatives. You’ll work closely with the General Manager, Product Manager and external agencies to bring our brand to life across email, digital, print, and social platforms.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a flair for content, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to campaign coordination.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Campaign & Content Coordination

  • Assist the General Manager in planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, digital, and print platforms
  • Write and edit engaging content for newsletters, blog posts, and website pages, aligned with our brand voice
  • Maintain and update website content using WordPress, ensuring accuracy and SEO best practices
  • Support the creation of visual content including infographics, brochures, and destination guides
  • Coordinate video creation and editing for platforms such as YouTube and LinkedIn, working with external agencies and internal stakeholders

Email Marketing & CRM

  • Coordinate email campaigns and automated flows using MailerLite
  • Segment audiences, maintain subscriber list health, and ensure compliance with email marketing regulations
  • Monitor performance metrics and contribute to reporting and optimisation

Community Engagement & Influencer Coordination

  • Respond to comments and direct messages across our social media channels to help build an engaged online community
  • Coordinate influencer outreach, manage content approvals, and track campaign performance

PR & Paid Media

  • Organise paid media placements in travel publications, newspapers, and online platforms
  • Liaise with our graphic designer to brief and review creative assets for print & digital ads
  • Assist with the logistics and promotion of PR trips, including supplier coordination and post-trip media follow-up

Partnership & Loyalty Marketing

  • Support the Product Manager in organising, executing, and analysing joint marketing campaigns with suppliers and tourism boards
  • Manage referral and birthday gifting programs, including sourcing digital vouchers and tracking redemptions
  • Assist with client surveys and feedback collection to inform marketing strategies

Event & Trade Show Support

  • Assist with planning and promotion of trade shows, webinars, info sessions, and client events
  • Coordinate marketing deliverables and logistics for in-person and virtual events

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track campaign performance across all channels and assist with dashboard reporting
  • Conduct monthly competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities

Administrative & Team Support

  • Support the marketing team with general admin, database updates, and file management
  • Help prepare internal communications and onboarding materials for new team members


ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is highly desirable
  • 1+ years’ experience in a marketing or content-focused role, ideally in the travel or lifestyle sector
  • Strong writing and editing skills with a flair for storytelling and brand alignment
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (MailerLite preferred) and basic CRM principles
  • Comfortable using CMS platforms (WordPress preferred) and understanding of SEO best practices
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express, or similar) are highly desirable
  • Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Passion for travel and a genuine interest in creating inspiring content and campaigns


 COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $70k - $75k base salary + superannuation + bonus based on company and individual performance
