About Role
We’re seeking a
Senior Flutter Engineer to define the technical direction for our mobile app.
This isn’t just about shipping features — it’s about building the foundations that let us scale to thousands of daily checkouts across live autonomous stores.
Responsibilities
- Define mobile architecture — choose patterns, enforce standards, and ensure apps remain scalable and maintainable as complexity grows.
- Design for reliability — enforce testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for predictable and continuous deployments.
- Optimize for performance — from rendering efficiency to data synchronization under real-world network conditions.
- Influence cross-functional decisions — work with backend, product, and design to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and smooth user experiences.
- Own delivery at scale — from developer workflow to App Store/Play Market release strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of professional mobile development, with deep experience in shipping and scaling consumer-facing production apps.
- 4+ years of hands-on Flutter development, with mastery of state management (Bloc, Riverpod, Redux, etc.).
- Proven ability to design mobile architecture that balances scalability, testability, and speed.
- Strong experience with real-time communication (REST APIs, websockets).
- Experience with design systems (Figma).
- Fluency in CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions) and automated testing practices.
- Experience in technical leadership — mentoring developers, conducting rigorous code reviews, and setting engineering standards.
- Ability to cut through ambiguity and deliver clear, pragmatic solutions under startup velocity.
- Fast learner who can ramp up quickly (code in production within the first week).
- Clear communicator and strong collaborator.
- Positive approach to AI tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Claude.
Bonus points
- Open to relocation.
- Built and maintained Flutter packages or component libraries.
- Experience with event-driven systems (Pub/Sub).
- Previous role as tech lead on a cross-platform mobile team.
- Product-minded — can balance technical purity with user experience impact.
