About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our Keeper Connection Manager (KCM) team. This is a 100% remote position, with options for a hybrid work schedule for candidates based in El Dorado Hills, CA, or the Chicago, IL metro area. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, security, and reliability of our next-generation secure remote access solutions used by enterprise clients globally. Your responsibilities will include building and managing dynamic test environments, orchestrating server provisioning and decommissioning, conducting manual and automated testing, and validating integrations within Azure cloud environments. This role requires strong expertise in manual QA processes, environment management, security-focused testing, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet stringent security standards.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience in software QA engineering, with a focus on manual testing of enterprise and cloud-based applications
  • 5+ years of experience managing cloud environments, particularly with Microsoft Azure
  • Proficiency in building, provisioning, and managing test environments and server instances
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar languages for environment automation and support
  • Experience with secure protocols such as SSH, RDP, VNC, and TLS/SSL
  • Hands-on experience managing TLS/SSL certificates, including creation, rotation, and validation
  • Deep understanding of QA methodologies, automation frameworks, and test design best practices
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • U.S. Person (citizen or lawful permanent resident) due to involvement with GovCloud environments

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage dynamic test environments and server instances to support comprehensive manual testing efforts
  • Provision and decommission cloud-based servers and environments, primarily within Azure, to facilitate testing cycles
  • Perform end-to-end testing of KCM features, focusing on functionality, performance, security, and usability
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for regression, integration, and system-level testing
  • Work with secure protocols and manage certificates, including TLS/SSL, to ensure secure communications during testing
  • Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to define testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features and releases
  • Participate actively in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, estimation, and delivery
  • Identify, report, and track defects; verify fixes and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner
