Contract Executive Recruiter & Sourcer
Virgin Galactic is growing and we are looking for a Contract Executive Recruiter & Sourcer to support Executive hiring for both confidential and public searches.
The Contract Executive Recruiter & Sourcer will be responsible for engaging in direct and indirect recruiting strategies to increase company exposure, branding, and reputation. You will be responsible for sourcing, identifying, qualifying, interviewing, and presenting candidates to TA leadership and hiring leaders as appropriate. In addition, you will conduct deep internet mining and utilize CRM & sourcing tools for passive candidates. We are looking for someone with extensive experience working with executives across the organization and exercise discretion while maintaining a high level of confidentiality as appropriate.
You will be responsible for recruiting for executive level roles supporting the Director, Talent Acquisition across the organization, encompassing multiple disciplines, with strong focus on a high-touch candidate experience. You will work independently on multiple projects with a strong ability to effectively prioritize and produce results in accordance with deadlines.
- Work with executive leaders to accurately define position duties and requirements, assisting in the development of clear job descriptions and effective job postings. Identify ways to effectively source candidates for difficult to fill positions.
- Aggressively recruit & source well-qualified applicants from a variety of sources including, sourcing from various Job Boards, Phenom CRM, Fetcher Sourcing tools and networking.
- Sell the company’s value proposition to candidates and successfully negotiate offers and relocation packages.
- Support relocation, on-boarding and post-hire follow-up for new hires, including developing effective resources and materials.
- Participate in recruitment strategy sessions to discuss best practices in sourcing, recruiting tools, market trends to improve candidate flow and efficiency.
- Create profiles of each candidate using PowerPoint to highlight experience.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of heavy recruiting and sourcing experience with 5+ years with a retained search firm.
- 5+ of years of experience recruiting leadership / executive positions and 3 + years of Talent Acquisition in a corporate environment.
- Experience with Corporate Executive sourcing, specifically Sales, Marketing and other Technical leadership roles at the Director and above level.
- Possess an established track record of developing strong relationships with potential employees.
- Experience at providing consultative recommendations and influencing hiring teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and effective communication in formal and informal settings with senior executives, peers and candidates.
- Excellent negotiator with a confidence-inspiring manner, and a keen sense of determination and urgency. Have a strong customer focus when dealing with both hiring managers and candidates.
