What You Will Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based web applications and supporting backend systems.
- Work across the stack with modern technologies like TypeScript, Python, React, and JavaScript.
- Make architectural and product-impacting decisions to help scale products to support massive healthcare systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, and Clinical teams to deliver intuitive and impactful features.
- Contribute to building internal engineering best practices while mentoring and collaborating with peers.
- Participate in fast-paced, high-ownership work that supports mission-critical clinical workflows.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer working at senior or staff level.
- Proven 0-to-1 product experience and a track record of building customer-facing applications from the ground up.
- Prior experience in one or more of the following types of companies:
- AI-first startups or scale-ups
- Fast-moving, high-output tech companies
- Healthtech startups
- FAANG (Meta, Amazon Health, Google, etc.)
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and systems design.
- Comfortable working across the stack (50/50 frontend/backend).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with an ownership mindset.
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare workflows, EMRs, or clinical tools is a major plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or a related field.
- Passionate about AI and its real-world impact, particularly in healthcare.
- Demonstrated growth trajectory with internal promotions and long-term contributions to past teams.
Compensation, Benefits, and Other Details
- Base Salary: $162,000 – $234,000 (flexible)
