Lead Data Scientist - Python, R - B2B SaaS Platform in GERMANY

I am partnered with a cutting-edge SaaS company developing a self-improving platform that allows their partners to optimize their supply chain processes. They provide end-to-end solutions and create bespoke features for customers in order to deliver a well-rounded, sophisticated platform.

They are looking to grow their team with a Lead Data Scientist who will be part of a specialist team developing and implementing ML models across the product portfolio. As an experienced member of the team, you will also hold the responsibility to mentor and develop the team as this is a new growth area within the business. As a result, this is a Lead position - a great opportunity to develop your career and forge the direction of their internal Data function.

Relocation support is provided as well as being a fully international working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement ML models and algorithms
• Analyse and identify data trends and insights
• Collaborate with your team on topics such as data modeling and analysis
• Create strategies that align with the larger business goals
• Utilize your experience in leading by example, developing younger team members, and contributing to a growing and high-performing data-centric environment

Your Skills:

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar disciplines
• Multiple years (8+) of experience as a Lead/Sr. Data Scientist, working in practical environments
• Experience in languages such as Python, R
• You are familiar with Oracle, PL/SQL database
• Confident communicator, fluent English language skills
