UX Researcher, Consumer in
United States.
In this role, you will lead research initiatives to understand user behavior, needs, and experiences across consumer-facing products. You will design and conduct qualitative research studies that inform product strategy, improve engagement, and enhance the user experience for new and existing users. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will translate insights into actionable recommendations that influence executive decision-making. This position offers an opportunity to have high visibility and impact, helping shape product design and user experiences at scale while working in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.
Accountabilities
- Design and execute high-quality qualitative research studies, including interviews, concept testing, and behavioral analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, data science, and product management to inform product decisions
- Translate research findings into actionable insights that drive product strategy and improve the user experience
- Communicate research outcomes clearly through compelling narratives and presentations to stakeholders across the organization
- Support lifecycle research initiatives to enhance user acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Advocate for user-centered design and evidence-based decision-making across product teams
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Behavioral Science, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience conducting consumer-focused qualitative research on embedded product teams
- Demonstrated expertise in qualitative research methods, with the ability to apply them effectively at each stage of product development
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to balance multiple projects and priorities independently
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with experience influencing strategy in cross-functional settings
- Detail-oriented, flexible, and adaptable to changing priorities and environments
