About The Role

We are seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Technical Expert to join our dynamic Quality Analytics team within the Global Data Insight and Analytics (GDIA) organization. This pivotal role requires a recognized authority in signal processing and time series analysis, with a proven track record of developing innovative machine learning models and contributing to research publications. As the “go-to” individual for this discipline, you will be instrumental in discovering, evaluating, and implementing relevant technologies and processes to address complex quality-related challenges across the organization. Your expertise will be applied to various domains, including warranty analytics and vehicle telematics, with an emphasis on learning and adapting swiftly to new data and problem spaces.

You will serve as a key technical contributor, leading the discovery, development, and deployment of state-of-the-art technology, processes, and business concepts in quality analytics. Your role involves analyzing complex datasets to uncover actionable insights, designing and deploying advanced machine learning and generative AI models into production environments, and providing technical leadership and mentorship to peers. You will regularly present complex findings and strategic recommendations to organizational leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals. Additionally, you will volunteer and serve on relevant professional committees to enhance your growth and contribute to the organization’s technical reputation.

Qualifications

  • Master of Science (M.S.) degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of extensive proficiency in Python programming for advanced data analysis and machine learning
  • 5+ years of subject matter expertise in signal processing and its application to real-world problems
  • 3+ years of experience in developing and deploying machine learning models into production
  • Strong research and publication record in peer-reviewed journals or conferences (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of generative AI concepts and tools
  • Proven ability to rapidly learn new concepts and apply machine learning methodologies across diverse domains
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (Visa sponsorship provided for this role)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the discovery, development, and implementation of innovative technologies and processes in quality analytics
  • Apply signal processing and machine learning expertise to analyze warranty data, vehicle telematics, and other datasets to derive actionable insights
  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning and generative AI models into production environments
  • Identify root causes of vehicle quality issues and predict failures to drive continuous improvement
  • Advise management on technology delivery strategies and ensure effective knowledge transfer within the team
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, demonstrating adaptability and broad technical expertise
  • Present complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
  • Participate in professional committees and societies to stay abreast of industry advancements and contribute to organizational reputation
