A leading global quantitative investment firm is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Data Infrastructure team. This group is responsible for building the systems that power large-scale data ingestion, processing, and distribution, enabling high-performance trading strategies across global markets.


Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimize high-performance services and system components.
  • Apply advanced algorithms, data structures, and system design principles to deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues, ensuring reliability and robustness in production.


Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
  • Proficiency in at least one server-side language, with a strong preference for Rust (Python, C++, Go, or Java also valued).
  • Experience building high-performance, multi-threaded, asynchronous, or low-latency systems.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and big data tools (e.g., Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, BigTable).
