The Renatural is a VC-backed, NYC-based beauty company revolutionizing the wig and hair extension industry. In the last 12 months, we’ve filed two new patents for upcoming releases — including a groundbreaking process that automates wig-making, combining precision engineering with craftsmanship.

About the Role

We’re seeking a creative, data-driven Director of Brand Marketing to lead go-to-market strategy alongside evergreen creative brand development. You’ll scale The Renatural’s next-gen wig products from launch onward — building a brand people obsess over, immerse themselves in and a growth engine that turns awareness into sustainable revenue.


You’ll lead dedicated marketing team across:

  • Full-funnel marketing strategy and execution
  • Brand and creative direction across channels
  • Customer acquisition (organic + paid)
  • Launch planning, influencer & stylist marketing
  • Website, CRM, and lifecycle marketing
  • Partnerships, events, and community activations


As a senior leader, you’ll collaborate with the CEO and department heads (Product, Operations, Engineering) to bring our vision to life and scale a beloved, culture-shaping beauty brand.


Key Responsibilities

Brand

  • Define and evolve The Renatural’s brand identity, voice, and positioning
  • Oversee all brand expressions (social, site, packaging, campaigns)
  • Own the content calendar and manage cross-channel content creation
  • Develop storytelling, PR, and activation strategies
  • Build relationships with tastemakers, influencers, and aligned communities


Growth Marketing


  • Hire a dedicated cross functional marketing team from the ground up to reach company goals
  • Own topline growth targets, CAC, and retention
  • Build and optimize marketing funnels across paid, organic, and owned channels
  • Launch new products with integrated GTM strategies
  • Optimize Shopify site, conversion flows, and customer journey
  • Scale performance marketing with internal/external partners
  • Lead attribution, analytics, and reporting with a focus on ROAS and retention


Who You Are


  • 5+ years in brand, growth, or marketing at high-growth consumer companies (beauty, CPG, wellness, or tech-enabled products preferred)
  • Experienced launching physical products with strong content + community angles
  • Hands-on with paid media, email/SMS, influencer, and lifecycle marketing
  • A strong operator who can both build systems and roll up your sleeves
  • Familiarity with wigs as a product and industry


Nice to Have

  • Experience with video-first marketing (Reels, TikTok, UGC)
  • Background with stylists, salons, or medical hair solutions
  • Existing network of agencies, creators, or beauty/culture press
  • Proficiency with Shopify, Klaviyo, GA4, Meta Ads and ClickUp
