Your Platform

Best known for iconic video game universes including Warcraft®, Overwatch®, Diablo®, and StarCraft®, Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. (www.blizzard.com), a division of Activision Blizzard, which was acquired by Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), is a premier developer and publisher of entertainment experiences. Blizzard Entertainment has created some of the industry’s most critically acclaimed and genre-defining games over the last 30 years, with a track record that includes multiple Game of the Year awards. Blizzard Entertainment engages tens of millions of players around the world with titles available on PC via Battle.net®, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.

Your Mission

As a Senior Manager of Campaign Marketing Operations, you will play a pivotal role in helping to shape and scale a brand-new team responsible for delivering operational excellence across Blizzard’s highest priority marketing campaigns. You’ll help create the operational foundation that elevates Blizzard to execute bold, global campaigns with speed, clarity, and confidence, while driving continuous improvement at every step.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role, focused on building and supporting the systems, forums, predictable delivery rhythms, governance models, and best-in-class tooling, that bring cross-functional teams together - on time, on message, and on track. You will be part of the operational backbone for how campaigns are run across all franchises, with a focus on execution, accountability, and visibility.

Important context: The CMOps team launched in July 2025. We’re still in discovery mode - actively building our ways of working from the ground up. We need operational support to plug immediate gaps while we stand up the foundations for the future. This role is critical to ensuring momentum and structure during a pivotal ramp-up period.

Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities.

Campaign Rhythm & Governance

  • Support the Director of CMOps in running campaign alignment forums
  • Maintain a campaign operations rhythm by managing agendas, attendees, comms, and pre-read coordination across multiple functions
  • Maintain a campaign operations rhythm with clear templates, inputs, and agendas
  • Consolidate cross-functional inputs into clear, executive-ready summaries
  • Step in to facilitate forums independently when needed
  • Map meetings across the org to flag duplication and misaligned cadences
  • Ensure calendar clarity across campaign milestones and comms beats; look for automations from other calendars
  • Partner with the Director to scale campaign alignment forums across future initiatives
  • Identify and document best practices, proposing quick wins and opportunities for scaling CMOps excellence
  • Assist with special projects or cross-functional priorities as assigned by the Director

Tooling & Artefacts

  • Support rollout of new tools (e.g. Opal) and standardized workflows across campaign teams
  • Develop and maintain best in class artefacts including the shared campaign calendar, templates, and file governance - always looking for ways to standardize and streamline
  • Serve as the connective tissue between Marketing, other Blizzard teams, and external partners
  • Build playbooks that allow franchise teams to run campaign planning consistently
  • Look for what can be standardized across franchises and functions - and help us get there

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in Campaign Operations, Business Operations, or Program Management in games/tech/entertainment
  • Proven experience in operational design including building documentation and governance that scales
  • Experience rolling out new tooling org-wide
  • Strong meeting facilitation, organization, and executive communication skills
  • Strong planning and execution orientation - proactive, structured, attention to detail, and follow-through focused
  • Brings a problem-solving mindset, but is also comfortable doing the “admin” - sometimes the work is just about making it run smoothly
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments, shifting priorities, and balancing speed with structure
  • Ability to quickly understand cross-functional needs and ensure clarity through well-crafted operational frameworks
  • Comfortable working independently, while syncing closely with rest of CMOps team
  • Ability to work well with leadership, to manage expectations, and with reliable follow-through
  • Able to communicate across multiple levels and functions
  • A good sounding board for others, with low ego
  • Highest level of integrity and management of confidential information
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent field
