Business Analyst IT III (Apptio IT Consultant)

Optomi, in partnership with a top grocery and retail chain, is seeking a Business Analyst IT III (Apptio IT Consultant) to join the TBMO and IT development teams. This position offers the opportunity to combine finance and technology experience, with a focus on Apptio administration, system integrations, and ongoing support for IT and finance processes.

What we’re looking for:

• 5–10 years of experience with financial systems and procedures.
• Strong background with Apptio (tables, reports, data models, datalink connectors).
• Ability to work closely with IT teams and communicate effectively with developers.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, logic formulas, VLOOKUP, data validation).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SAP, ServiceNow, or similar systems is a plus.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage Apptio administration tasks for the TBMO and IT development teams.
• Meet daily and monthly deliverable deadlines.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and investigate output variances within the Apptio platform.
• Handle timely and accurate data uploads.
• Work with TBMO team members to design, configure, and improve solutions in Apptio.
• Customize modules to fit business requirements and optimize existing setups.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
• Partner with the IT product owner to define integration requirements with other platforms.
