Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Retail & E-commerce Analyst with 5+ years of experience in retail analytics, market research, or e-commerce strategy. The ideal candidate holds an MBA or Master’s in Business Analytics, Marketing, or Economics and has a strong grasp of consumer behavior, global trade dynamics, and data-driven decision-making in retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive positioning.
- Conduct market sizing, pricing, and strategy assessments.
- Interpret trade regulations and their impact on global commerce and supply chains.
- Support fraud detection, customer segmentation, and lifetime value analysis.
- Deliver insights using tools like Excel, SQL, and retail databases (e.g., Nielsen, Euromonitor).
- Visualize data for stakeholders using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Required Skills & Competencies
- MBA or Master’s in Business Analytics, Marketing, or Economics.
- 5+ years in retail analytics, e-commerce, or market research.
- Proficient in Excel, SQL, Nielsen, Euromonitor, and data visualization tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and business acumen skills.
Qualifications
- MBA (completed) OR a bachelor’s degree from tier-1 or tier 2 institutes with specialization in business, economics, commerce or management.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in content development, business analysis, consulting, or domain-related projects.
- Prior experience in case study writing, academic content, or research assistance is a plus.
