Overview
The Analytics Engineer (AWS ETL) – VA LGY designs, builds, and maintains scalable data pipelines and warehouse solutions in AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue), developing and optimizing ETL/ELT workflows to ingest and transform mortgage data from loan origination, servicing, CRM, and regulatory systems. They model star schemas, slowly changing dimensions, and fact tables to support KPIs such as loan performance, delinquency, LTV, and prepayment risk; implement best practices for performance tuning, partitioning, and query optimization in Redshift and big-data frameworks; and integrate warehouse data with BI tools (Power BI) for dashboards and executive reporting. Partnering with business stakeholders, they translate analytics requirements into technical solutions, ensure data security, governance, and regulatory compliance, collaborate across teams on advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives, and produce high-quality client deliverables while working with a team lead to review solution options, foster teamwork, and maintain strong client relationships.
