Intermediate UX Designer

Location: Leeds (with flexibility across UK offices)

Salary: £38,000 – £47,000 per annum

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Overview

We are seeking an Intermediate UX Designer to join a leading digital consultancy. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects that put people at the centre of design. You’ll collaborate with researchers, developers, and product teams to craft seamless, accessible experiences that solve real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work within multidisciplinary Agile teams to deliver user-centred design solutions.
  • Create end-to-end user journeys that deliver clear, intuitive, and inclusive experiences.
  • Translate insights from user research and analytics into practical design improvements.
  • Develop user journey maps, sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Support usability testing and help identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and team members.
  • Contribute to the internal design community by sharing knowledge and best practices.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong UX design foundation, with experience designing for web and mobile.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, or similar prototyping platforms.
  • Awareness of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
  • Ability to anticipate user behaviours, including happy paths, edge cases, and corner cases.
  • Passion for exploring emerging trends in design, UX, and technology.
  • Strong consultancy mindset — comfortable engaging with clients and understanding their needs.
  • Collaborative and proactive, with the ability to support researchers and advise stakeholders.
