Senior Information Technology Project Manager in United State

Apex Systems is currently hiring for Telecom/Infrastructure Project Manager with a growing healthcare client that is 100% remote.


Location: 100% REMOTE (MUST be willing to work MST time zone)

Duration: 6 month contract to start, strong potential for extensions

Pay range: $65-75/hr


Our client has several high-priority initiatives underway. Project assignments will be based on the selected Project Manager's skill set and experience. All efforts are actively ramping up, requiring leadership from day one.


Key Initiatives

  • Cloud Migration & Voice Recording Modernization
  • Migration from on-premise telephony and voice recordings to a cloud-based system


Experience & Knowledge

  • 10+ years of proven Project Management experience across complex IT infrastructure and telecom deployments
  • Deep understanding of infrastructure technologies, voice solutions, and integration planning


Relevant Technical Background

  • Familiarity with:
  • VoIP, call centers, call routing, telephony, cloud voice migration
  • NG911, ESINET systems, Palo Alto Networks, IP range configuration, IPsec
  • Mobile device deployment within operational fleets


Project Leadership Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to:
  • Drive scope, schedules, financials, and risk mitigation
  • Build and manage project plans (MS Project), Gantt charts, and deliverable timelines
  • Capture and distribute meeting notes promptly and clearly
  • Communicate at all levels—from engineers to C-level executives
  • Confidently lead monthly steering committee meetings with executive stakeholders


Vendor & Financial Management

  • Strong vendor oversight and accountability in the areas of invoicing, hardware delivery, and service execution
  • Skilled in budget reconciliation at a granular level, including multimillion-dollar invoice review and financial tracking


Communication & Collaboration

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to synthesize technical discussions and translate into actionable items
  • Collaborative, proactive, and highly detail-oriented


Bonus: Previous hands-on experience in IT infrastructure or telecom environments
