They are currently seeking an experienced, independent, and self-motivated Data Engineer who can drive projects autonomously, turning business needs into robust, scalable, and reliable data solutions. You will be instrumental in laying the foundation for their entire data ecosystem, moving quickly to deliver value while building a system that is flexible and future-proof.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain their core data infrastructure, including data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective data models and solutions.
- Define and create core business metrics and a single source of truth for the company.
- Establish data governance, quality, and security standards and procedures.
- Maintain adherence to organizational security policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper handling of confidential and internal data.
Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Exceptional proficiency in SQL and Python. Proven experience designing and building scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines from scratch.
- Deep understanding of data warehousing principles and extensive experience with data modeling, particularly the star schema.
- Hands-on experience with one of the biggest cloud data platforms is highly desirable (GCP including BigQuery is a plus).
- A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential.
- Must be fluent in English.
