Senior Machine Learning Engineer in LITHUANIA

Spike Technologies is looking for an experienced ML Engineer to join our team in building cutting-edge Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) AI technology on health data. You will be responsible for developing ML (LLM) infrastructure around fitness and healthcare use cases. You’ll be working with billions of unique data points derived from wearables, IoT, and other sensors and build in-house technology for experimentation on advanced prompting use cases, hallucination prevention, fine-tuning, inference optimization, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Develop our in-house LLM experimentation infrastructure
• Develop fully HIPAA-compliant agents, utilizing OS LLMs
• Optimize retrieval speed and quality from private databases (NOSQL, SQL, and vector)
• Work with the product and core engineering teams to develop fully-fledged products for B2B2C use cases.

Qualifications:

• Experience training, serving, and monitoring NLP models
• 5+ years of experience in ML Engineering / Data Science
• Experience with Pytorch or other ML libraries
• Experience working with client/server systems, distributed systems, and cloud providers
• Good knowledge of relational, NOSQL , and vector databases
• Experience rolling LLM-based applications to production
• Ability to move fast in line with Spike’s culture

Good to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience developing scalable APIs
• Experience in building ETLs
• Expertise in developing and releasing algorithms for ML applications in production
• Familiarity with cloud deployment and scaling
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
