Location: San Francisco, CA (relocation + visa sponsorship available)

Compensation: $170K–$270K + 0.1–1% equity

Our client, an early-stage enterprise software startup, is looking for a founding engineer to help build their platform that automates critical workflows for finance teams. This is a rare opportunity to join the early team, make key technical decisions, and directly impact product design and customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Architect scalable backend systems and APIs from scratch.
• Build integrations with enterprise software and financial platforms.
• Develop algorithms to reconcile and unify data across siloed systems.
• Collaborate on frontend applications, dashboards, and productivity plugins.

Who You Are:

• 5–10 years of experience building production software in high-growth startups.
• Strong backend/platform focus (≥60% backend), full-stack capable.
• Top-tier CS/engineering background or elite fellowship/award.
• Autonomous, high-agency, low ego, thrives in ambiguity.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills; math competition experience a plus.
