What is in it for you?
As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be a part of an Agile team to build healthcare applications and implement new features while adhering to the best coding development standards.

Educational Qualifications: -
- Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.
- Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.
Key responsibilities: -
- Technical Leadership – Architect end to end ML solutions (ETL ➜ model training ➜ deployment), set coding standards, perform critical code reviews, and commit production code.
- Team Management – Coach, mentor, and develop a high performing distributed team
- Solution Delivery – Ship production grade RAG systems leveraging vector embeddings, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration frameworks.
- Healthcare Domain Execution – Ensure HIPAA compliance, secure PHI handling, and seamless EHR/FHIR integration.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Translate technical concepts into executive friendly roadmaps; demo progress to clinicians and C suite sponsors.
- Operational Excellence – Build SOPs, runbooks, and MLOps workflows (CI/CD, monitoring, cost optimization) that scale.
Mandatory Skills:-
- 10+ Yrs of Individual contributor roles (can overlap with management responsibilities)
- 5+ yrs managing ML/AI engineering teams of 10+ engineers
- Expert Python; deep experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow and LLM frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain)
- Proven track record shipping retrieval augmented LLM systems in production (vector stores, embeddings)
- Healthcare AI expertise – FHIR R4, PHI handling, HIPAA compliance; prior work in synthetic patient data or de identification
- Understanding of clinical trial data, EHR integration, or medical imaging pipelines
- Successful leadership of high visibility healthcare R&D programs
- Polished presentation and demo skills for clinical & executive audiences
- SOP/runbook creation; Agile delivery (sprints, retrospectives) using modern PM tools
- Strong MLOps fundamentals: CI/CD for models, monitoring, and cost controls
- Collaborative coach style leadership, proactive risk mitigation, and crisp communication under tight timelines
- Comfortable committing code, doing code review, strategic planning, and client demos at any time. The ideal candidate for this role will be a cross functional, technical and strategic SME for Gen AI.
Preferred Skills:-
- MS/PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science (healthcare focus), or related field
- Startup or consulting experience shipping AI products in healthcare or highly regulated settings
- Deep familiarity with cloud native ML stacks (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex, Azure ML), container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes), and IaC
- Proficiency with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana) for model & infra monitoring
- Business acumen: GTM strategy design, contract/vendor negotiation for AI software
- Active thought leadership in AI for healthcare communities (conferences, meet ups); history of upskilling teams via workshops or masterminds
