Reporting into the Group Chief People Officer, this role requires you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external partners to execute initiatives that attract and retain our talented Zipsters.

You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing guidance to the P&C team and broader business on matters related to Remuneration, Reward, Benefits, Global Mobility, Visa’s and People & Culture Policy.

Reward

  • Work with the Chief People Officer and Senior Equity & Rewards Partner to uphold Zip’s Remuneration & Reward Framework & Philosophy in line with our business strategy.
  • Assist with the delivery of existing and new remuneration practices across the employee and executive population, whilst ensuring alignment to strategy, internal policy, legislative and governance requirements. Including;
    • annual remuneration and bonus reviews (including collaborating with Finance to ensure accurate budgeting).
    • job design, grading, benchmarking and management of internal salary bands.
    • variable compensation plans including STI, LTI, LTE and LTC.
  • Assist with the management of Zip's global share plans from the offer stage to vesting/exercise.
  • Assist with the communication of policy and changes to employees, leaders and team members - such as changes in processes or new remuneration practices (for example: training or the development of internal FAQs).
  • Provide data-driven remuneration advice and recommendations as required, liaising with other teams if necessary (e.g. Talent Acquisition, People Operations, HR Business Partners, Payroll, Tax & Finance).Preparation of quarterly papers for the Remuneration, People & Culture Committee of the Zip Board.
  • Work with the Finance and Senior Equity & Rewards Partner to draft the Annual Remuneration Report.
  • Maintain tools for market analysis to enable a competitive remuneration strategy. Including submission of salary surveys (e.g. Aon Radford and FIRG).
  • Maintain working partnerships with external vendors and service partners (tax and global mobility advisors, immigration lawyers, and remuneration consultants etc.).
  • Prepare workpapers required internal and external reporting requirements on Zips Gender Pay Equity and Gender Pay Gap metrics (preparation and submission of the Workplace Profile for Zip’s Annual WGEA reporting).
  • Work with the CPO’s to deliver on long-term strategies within the compensation and benefits environment, across both the Australian and US market.
  • Input into other ad-hoc rewards and people analytics projects as needed.
Global Mobility

  • Assist in the execution of Zip’s Global Mobility policies, programs and initiatives related to visas & immigration, work from anywhere, remote work and international relocation or assignments.
  • Ensure all mobility initiatives are delivered effectively and in compliance with tax, legal obligations and company policy.

What you'll bring to the team:

Education & Background:

  • 8+ years corporate experience in a Reward related role. Preferably with an ASX listed company in the Fintech or broader financial services sector.
  • Proficiency in using HR information systems, reporting and data analysis tools (such as BambooHR, Charthop, Elmo, Greenhouse, Monday.com and Lattice).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with the Google/Microsoft product suite.
  • Sound knowledge of People & Culture organisational policies and practices.
  • Understanding of remuneration, reward and incentive plans, including HR best practices, relevant legislation and ASX guidelines, governance and compliance obligations.
  • ANZ and US remuneration philosophy administration.
  • Role evaluation and benchmarking across all employee and executive populations.
  • Solid advisory skills, able to provide consistent and timely advice and resolve complex issues.
  • High attention to detail and refined analytical skills, able to provide data-driven recommendations and evaluate effectiveness of remuneration programs.
  • Drafting quarterly Board Papers & the Annual Remuneration Report.
  • Interpersonal communication skills, ability to effectively build constructive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence others, including management, to achieve desired outcome.
  • Flexibility to accommodate meetings across various time zones (as and when required).
  • A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
