The ideal candidate provides technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions. As a QA Manager & Architect, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. This role is considered part of the Business Unit Leadership team and may mentor Junior Architects and /or development team members.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary QA point of contact for client stakeholders across onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.
- Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication and effective delivery.
- Align QA priorities with client leadership and escalate risks proactively.
Test Strategy & Execution
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and automation frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile platforms.
- Ensure QA involvement in early stages of story grooming and sprint planning.
- Oversee all QA activities including functional, regression, performance, and smoke testing.
- Manage scope creep and coordinate with clients to defer untestable items.
Automation & Technology Leadership
- Architect and drive adoption of enterprise-level automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Mabl, Playwright, Appium).
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and promote AI-driven testing solutions.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Data teams to stabilize test environments.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead and mentor QA teams across multiple projects and geographies.
- Conduct daily QA stand-ups and retrospectives to ensure alignment and resolve issues.
- Promote accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.
Process Optimization & Best Practices
- Implement QA best practices including test case reusability, regression planning, and defect management.
- Establish and monitor QA metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.
- Conduct regular QA health checks to assess morale, delivery quality, and team capacity.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure test cases are detailed, reusable, and aligned with client expectations.
- Provide accurate QA estimates and maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10–15+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience managing distributed QA teams (30+ members) in high-pressure environments.
Technical Skills
- Full-stack QA expertise in Web, API, and Mobile automation testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with tools such as Mabl, Playwright, Appium, Selenium, Cypress, and Cucumber.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, OOP, and design patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps), Git/Bitbucket, and cloud-based test environments (e.g., AWS).
Soft Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English).
- Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
