What You'll Do
As a BI Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering scalable, enterprise-grade BI solutions. You’ll get to:
Provide Support & Administration:
- Provide support for BI solutions, addressing data inconsistencies, user issues, performance problems
- Perform administration of the MicroStrategy (Strategy One) platform, including user/role management, security configuration, object migration, monitoring and performance tuning
- Maintain and monitor data refresh jobs, report schedules, and data quality across environments.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to manage incident resolution, change control, and release processes.
Consult & Develop:
- Design and Develop efficient T-SQL scripts and stored procedures and SSIS packages in SQL Server for data transformation, analysis, and reporting needs.
- Data modelling efforts within Microstrategy, including logical schema design, attribute/metric definitions, and schema objects optimization.
- Build, enhance, and support Microstrategy reports, dashboards, and schemas
- Participate in solution design, data modelling, and best-practice implementation for BI initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate business logic into data logic, and deliver impactful BI solutions.

The Tech You'll Work With
You’ll be hands-on with tools and platforms such as:
- SQL Server & T-SQL in Azure ecosystem
- MicroStrategy (Strategy One)
- SSIS & ETL pipelines
- Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Fabric)
- Data warehousing and metadata management concepts
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in BI or Data Engineering.
- Proven skills in SQL Server, T-SQL, and enterprise-level data processing.
- Strong knowledge of MicroStrategy (Strategy One), both development and administration.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing (Kimball, Dimensional Model).
- Experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and BI performance optimization.
- Understanding of BI best practices, including version control, deployment strategies, and data governance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience in stakeholder management and requirement gathering from non-technical business partners.
- Knowledge of basic scripting (Python, PowerShell, or similar) for automation and data handling.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and ensure high data reliability.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Azure cloud experience (Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Fabric).
- Experience with additional reporting platforms (Power BI, OBIEE, or Tableau).
- Familiarity with API integrations and connecting BI platforms with external data sources.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices for BI deployments.
