Data Product Owner in SPAIN

❗️IMPORTANT: This position is on-site in Valencia, Spain.

❗️We can provide relocation assistance if you're outside of the city or country.


As a Data Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading and management of our data products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, BI, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of data-driven solutions that meet business needs. Your role will involve creating detailed product roadmaps, and driving the execution of data product initiatives.


Responsibilities:

✔ Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and maintain a data product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities for new data products and enhancements to existing products.

✔ Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and prioritize features.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between business units and the data product team.
  • Facilitate communication and alignment between technical and non-technical teams.

✔ Product Development:

  • Create and manage product backlogs, ensuring that the team is working on the highest priority tasks.
  • Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for new features.
  • Oversee the development process, ensuring that data products are delivered on time and within scope.

✔ Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of data products, using metrics and KPIs to drive improvements.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to data product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for optimization and innovation.


Requirements:

✔ 5+ years of experience in data product management, BI, or data analytics.

✔ Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex data products.

✔ Strong understanding of BI, data science, data engineering, and analytics.

✔ Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data management platforms.

✔ Excellent project management skills, with experience using Agile methodologies.

✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

✔ Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
