Position: Data & AI Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Data & AI Engineer to join our team and support a leading project in Germany. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Databricks, Databricks Genie, OpenAI, LLMs, and Python, with experience working in a Microsoft ecosystem (particularly Teams) being highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize data solutions using Databricks.
• Leverage Databricks Genie to enable natural language data queries and AI-driven insights.
• Work with OpenAI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to implement AI-powered solutions.
• Develop scalable and efficient applications using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a Microsoft environment, with emphasis on Teams integration.
• Occasionally travel to Germany for project workshops or team alignment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Databricks, Databricks Genie, Python, OpenAI, and LLMs.
• Strong background in Microsoft tools/environment (Teams preferred).
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently in a remote, international team setting.
