Title: Onboarding Assistant

Pay Rate: $ 24.25/hr on W2
Position Summary
• Support the U.S. Talent Acquisition team by managing the onboarding cycle for new hires from offer acceptance through Day 1
• Act as primary point of contact for new employees, ensuring completion of pre-employment requirements and a seamless onboarding experience
• Provide professional, flexible, and proactive support to recruiters, candidates, and business leaders
Position Responsibilities
• Deliver an excellent candidate and leader experience aligned with employer brand standards
• Own and manage the onboarding process, serving as the candidate's main contact for pre-employment tasks
• Monitor and track pre-employment screenings for finalist candidates
• Partner with HR business partners, compliance, legal, relocation, and immigration teams
• Serve as liaison to the New Employee Orientation program
• Manage interview suites and ensure they reflect company branding positively
• Oversee candidate status tracking in Workday ATS
• Manage background check and screening process in Sterling/First Advantage
• Identify and recommend process improvements for onboarding efficiencies
• Monitor candidate travel expenses and ensure compliance with policies
• Escalate complex issues or process troubleshooting to the GTA Lead
Qualifications
• Experience in talent acquisition and onboarding processes
• Previous experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred)
• Knowledge of background screening and I-9 verification processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong customer-service orientation with excellent communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization
• Problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and escalate issues appropriately
