Piper Companies is immediately hiring a
Frontend Developer for a
fully remote, short-term contract assignment with an organization based out of the
Silver Spring, MD area.
Responsibilities for the Frontend Developer include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for web application updates and enhancements.
- Modify and maintain static websites (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Make backend changes to applications using technologies such as C# and Node.js (as needed).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver timely solutions.
- Monitor and manage the change request process across multiple sites.
- Support ongoing improvements to workflows and processes.
- Handle API integrations and form processing for commercial websites.
- Use Git for version control and code management across projects.
Qualifications for the Frontend Developer include:
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend or fullstack web development.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Node.js
- Prior experience using Git version control preferred
- Familiarity with AC-style syntax languages (e.g., C, C#, JavaScript).
- Experience working with CMS platforms and static site generators.
- Understanding of software engineering best practices.
- Strong communication and proven ability serving in a consultant-like capacity for internal clients.
Compensation for the Frontend Developer includes:
- Salary range: approximately $65.00 - $75.00 hourly, commensurate with experience
